Material examined. Bohemia: Kateřina (5840), Soos NNR, 50°08′53″N 12°24′24″E, 440 m, saline swamps, Schpt GoogleMaps / Elch, 10.vi.2022, 6 ♂ ( MCH); same data , 22.vi.2023, 14 ♂ ( MCH, MAPC, NMPC); Dobřany, 2.5 km E (6346), Vysoká [probably ca 49°38′40″N 13°20′35″E, 440 m] GoogleMaps , 22.vi.1970, 1 ♂ ( NMPC) .
Distribution. Russia (European part, including northern Caucasus), Germany ( Meyer & Stark 2015) and the Czech Republic (present paper).
Status in CZ. The first CZ records of this species are presented herein. The specimen from Dobřany (listed above) was erroneously identified and recorded as T. bellus by Olejníček (1973).
Ecology. In the Soos NNR, it appears to be confined to salt marshes with Schoenoplectus tabernaemontani (dominant) and patches of Eleocharis spp.
