Type material examined. Indonesia: Holotype, female: ‘ Type [p, label circular, red framed]; Java. / (Horsfield.) [p]; 60·15 / E. I. C. [p]; 119 [h]; Dryusa ? / javanica / mihi. Typ. [h] / det. Breuning [p]; NHMUK014596815 [p]’.

Comments. This specimen is labelled ‘E.I.C.’ referring to the East India Company, who donated their extensive collection in 1860 (registration [18]60–15]). The collector, Thomas Horsfield (1773–1859), had been keeper and curator of the Company’s museum.
