Genus Travunijana View in CoL n. gen.
Type species: Travunijana vruljakensis View in CoL n. sp.
Diagnosis
The diagnostic features of the genus are the same as those of the type species Travunijana vruljakensis n. sp. The unique male copulatory organ’ s (penis) morphology is typical for the new genus.
Etymology
Named after the ancient name of Trebinje (Travunija), as a capital of the medieval principality a part of Medieval Serbia (850–1371), and later the Bosnian Kingdom (1373–1482).
