Type:— NEW ZEALAND. South Island, Nelson-Mt Cobb (to the north of the Mt Arthur Plateau), F.G. Gibbs s.n. (lectotype AK 9692! designated by Allan 1961: 618).
Notes:— Herrick & Cameron (1994) listed AK 9691 as a syntype. However, it cannot be a syntype because the collection is dated 1911, which was after the species description .
K 882094 [image!] and the lectotype ( AK 9692 ) have labels from the Cheeseman herbarium with identical handwriting; however, both lack the collection dates to confirm the former as isolectotype.
