41. Celmisia ramulosa var. tuberculata Simpson & Thomson (1942: 34) View in CoL .
Type :— NEW ZEALAND. South Island , Rough Peaks, Lake Wakatipu, Feb 1936, G. Simpson s.n. (holotype CHR 50003 View Materials !) .
Notes:— Herrick & Cameron (1994) listed AK 170505! as a syntype. However, it cannot be a syntype because the protologue states that the type specimen (singular) was in the Herbarium Plant Research Bureau, Wellington, which corresponds today to CHR ( Wright 1984).
Additionally, unlike CHR 50003, which mentions only Simpson as the collector, the specimen at AK indicates both Simpson and Thomson.
