28. Celmisia incana Hooker (1853: 123) View in CoL .
Type:— NEW ZEALAND. Northern Island, Ruahine Range, 1847, W. Colenso 55 in Herbarium Hookerianum (lectotype K 882084 [image!] designated by Allan 1961: 622).
Notes:— Allan (1961) lectotypified C. incana from a single sheet at Kew (K, Herbarium Hookerianum) with two collections by W. Colenso. Colenso 201 (Mt. Hikurangi, K 882083 [image!]), and Colenso 55 (K 882084). For the latter (selected lectotype), there is no mention of locality other than “ New Zealand ”. Nevertheless, Allan (1961: 622) indicated the Ruahine Range.
