Distribution. China ( Gates 1932).

Remarks. Blakemore (2006) proposed a new name, Amynthas gegatesi , to replace Pheretima dolosa Gates , 19 3 2, which was considered as junior homonym of Pheretima doliaria dolosa Gates, 1932 . Under IZCN (1999, Arts. 16; 53.3; 57.2), the name Pheretima dolosa is permanently invalid.
