Records from Vietnam. Commonly found in central and northern Vietnam ( Tran 1985; Do 1994; Nguyen 1994; Le 1995a; Pham 1995c, 2010; Huynh & Nguyen 2004a).

Distribution. Cosmopolitan species ( Blakemore 2002, 2007a).

Vietnamese name. Giun lớn.

Remarks. Its original home is probably in China ( Gates 1972). In Vietnam, it has been rarely found in southern part of Haivan pass in central Vietnam.
