Diagnosis. Yellowish, marginal rim transparent, the tracheal folds and caudal furrow orange; circular, about 2.21– 2.68 mm long, 2.11–2.52 mm wide, without secretion, quite flat. Dorsum with many minute punctations. Margin crenulate, 7–9 crenulations in 0.1 mm; thoracic tracheal pore area quite differentiated from margin, with a subcircular chitinized ring, within which the margin is serrated. Paired anterior and posterior marginal setae about 12.3–16.1 µm and 8.3–12.4 µm long, respectively. Longitudinal molting suture reaching anterior margin and the transverse molting suture reaching the submargin. Vasiform orifice subcordate, as long as wide, about 60.1–64.2 µm. The rim of the orifice is thickened, and the inner lateral and caudal margin is minutely setose ( Quaintance & Baker 1917); shape of operculum similar to orifice and almost covering it.

Host Plants. Michelia maudiae (Ranales: Magnoliaceae ), Ficus sp. ( Quaintance & Baker, 1917).

Distribution. China (Guangxi), new record; Philippines ( Quaintance & Baker 1917).

Material examined. 11 puparia on 11 slides collected in Damingshan Nature Reserve, 23°24.11'N, 108°30.32'E, Nanning , Guangxi, 9. xiii. 2011, leg. J. R. Wang, on Michelia maudiae .
