Lectotype (Nardi in Webbia 33: 426. 1979): Herb. Linn. No. 1251.9 ( LINN) .

Current name: Polypodium cambricum L. ( Polypodiaceae ).

Note: Shivas (in Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 58: 28. 1961) rejected the name as based on a monstrosity but, since the Leningrad Code (1975), names based on such specimens are valid, and later authors have again taken up P. cambricum . See review by Pichi Sermolli (in Webbia 40: 49-50. 1986).
