( SWUC) ; 2 males, Jinyun Mountain Nature Reserve, Guankou Administrative Station , 29°42′159″ N, 106°17′25″ E, Elev. 517m, pitfall trap, 15 September 2011, L.Y. Wang leg. ( SWUC).
Etymology. The specific name refers to its similarity to Cyclocosmia ricketti .
Diagnosis. The new species is similar to C. ricketti ( Pocock 1901: 209, pl. 21, fig. 1; Schwendinger 2005: 227, figs 2–8, pl. 1D), C. siamensis ( Schwendinger 2005: 231, figs 9–30, pl. 1C and C. liui ( Xu et al. 2017: 82, figs 3A– F), but differs from the others by the pattern of the opisthosomal disc ( Figs 5G View FIGURE 5 , 8B View FIGURE 8 ). Two septal ribs between upper muscle impressions of the new species are connected with transverse ribs between upper and middle impressions and radial ribs, other than the isolated and hollow ones of C. ricketti . The second transverse rib between upper and middle impressions of the new species is separated from radial ribs, different from C. siamensis and C. lannaensis The upper muscle impressions without the endocentric concavity ( Figs 5G View FIGURE 5 , 8B View FIGURE 8 ), different to C. latusicosta ( Figs 1G View FIGURE 1 , 8A View FIGURE 8 ). The central muscle impressions without the endocentric concavity, different from C. liui . Top of spermatheca is nearly quadrate, different from C. truncata ( Gertsch & Platnick 1975: 6, fig. 25), C. torreya ( Gertsch & Platnick 1975: 12, fig. 26) and C. loricata ( Gertsch & Platnick 1975: 15, fig. 27).
