Specimens examined. 1 male (photographed) and 1 female (photographed) (paratypes of C. punctulatum Qi and Nonnaizab, 1995 View in CoL ), CHINA: Maigaiti County (38°54'N, 77°39'E), Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, 11. IV. 1993.

Diagnosis. Small, total length 2.56 (male), 2.76 (female); body light yellow, head, pronotum, hemelytra, scutellum with orange-red, big spots, apex of clavus and corium darkened, forming median fuscous stripe on hemelytra; dorsum with recumbent, sparse, dark, simple setae and silvery setae; clypeus relatively short, with reddish spots; antennal segment I yellow, with orange red spots or ring in middle, segments II light red; labium slightly exceeding hind coxae; exposed part of mesoscutum almost entirely orange-red; apex of clavus and corium with a dark brown band; legs yellow, femora with reddish spots; tibial spines light brown with black base, tibiae not obviously darkened at base; venter deep brown in middle and both sides dark red. Male genitalia ( Figs. 44–47 View FIGURES 36 – 47 ): Endosoma sigmoid with one apical spine, secondary gonopore developed with membranous margin; phallotheca bending and attenuated apically.

Distribution. Chian (Xinjiang), Turkestan, Iran.

Discussion. Qi and Nonnaizab (1995) described a new species C. punctulatum from Xinjiang. We have examined type specimens and find that C. nebulosum and C. punctulatum are conspecific, C. punctulatum is a synonym of C. nebulosum .
