Etymology. The specific name is a patronym in honor of the collector Prof. Hao Yu (Guizhou Education University), and is a noun (name) in genitive case.
Diagnosis. This species resembles K. digitata Yao & Li, 2010 (see Yao & Li 2010: 5, Figs. 1 View FIGURE 1 A–D, 2A–D, 3A–D, 4A–C) and K. qian Yao & Li, 2019 (see Yao et al. 2019: 348, Figs. 9–10) with similar male chelicerae ( Figs. 6 View FIGURE 6 C–D) but can be distinguished by procursus with thin sclerotized apophysis distally (arrow in Fig. 5C View FIGURE 5 ), by epigynum without posterior lip ( Fig. 6A View FIGURE 6 ), and by vulval pore plates narrow anteriorly ( Fig. 6B View FIGURE 6 ); also distinguished from K. digitata by vulval anterior sclerite relatively small laterally (arrow in Fig. 6B View FIGURE 6 ); also distinguished from K. qian by vulval pore plates wide posteriorly ( Fig. 6B View FIGURE 6 ).
Description. Male (holotype): Total length 2.31 (2.46 with clypeus), carapace 0.82 long, 1.12 wide, opisthosoma 1.49 long, 1.18 wide. Leg I: 28.85 (7.24 + 0.46 + 6.94 + 10.97 + 3.24), leg II: 18.16 (4.94 + 0.45 + 4.28 + 6.81 + 1.68), leg III: 13.52 (4.07 + 0.41 + 3.16 + 4.79 + 1.09), leg IV: 16.49 (5.03 + 0.42 + 3.88 + 6.02 + 1.14); tibia I L/d: 53. Distance PME-PME 0.14, diameter PME 0.16, distance PME-ALE 0.04, AME absent. Habitus as in Figs. 6 View FIGURE 6 E–F. Carapace yellowish, with black margins and dark median line; ocular area yellowish, with dark brown marks laterally; clypeus dark brown; sternum black. Legs brownish, but whitish on distal parts of femora and tibiae, with darker rings on subdistal parts of femora and proximal and subdistal parts of tibiae. Opisthosoma yellowish, with large black spots. Ocular area slightly elevated and separated from rest of carapace. Thoracic furrow shallow, but distinct. Sternum wider than long (0.70/0.57). Chelicerae ( Figs. 6 View FIGURE 6 C–D) with pair of proximo-lateral apophyses provided with scales each, pair of small distal apophyses laterally, pair of large frontal apophyses provided with scales each (arrows in Figs. 6 View FIGURE 6 C–D), and pair of long and hooked frontal apophyses provided with scales each (tips close together). Pedipalps as in Figs. 5 View FIGURE 5 A–B; trochanter with short retrolateral apophysis and small ventral apophysis; femur with retrolateral apophysis; patella large; procursus simple proximally but complex distally, with thin sclerotized apophysis distally (arrow in Fig. 5C View FIGURE 5 ) and long distal apophysis provided with scales; bulb simple, no other projections except for embolus. Retrolateral trichobothrium of tibia I at 6% proximally; legs with short vertical setae on tibiae, metatarsi and tarsi, without spines and curved setae; tarsus I with 11 distinct pseudosegments.
Female: Similar to male, habitus as in Figs. 6 View FIGURE 6 G–H. Total length 2.47 (2.56 with clypeus), carapace 0.88 long, 1.09 wide, opisthosoma 1.59 long, 1.55 wide; tibia I: 5.82; tibia I L/d: 49. Distance PME-PME 0.16, diameter PME 0.14, distance PME-ALE 0.05, AME absent. Sternum wider than long (0.72/0.62). Epigynum ( Fig. 6A View FIGURE 6 ) brown, without pockets. Vulva ( Fig. 6B View FIGURE 6 ) with curved anterior arch and sclerite (arrow in Fig. 6B View FIGURE 6 ) and pair of nearly triangular pore plates.
Variation: Tibia I in male paratype: 6.38, in the male from Daheba: 6.28. Tibia I in the female from Daheba (n=1, leg I missing in the other two specimens): 6.02.
Distribution. China (Yunnan, type locality; Guizhou; Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 ).
