Diagnosis. Frons with one pair reclinate supraantennal setae. Anepisternum bare, undivided. Midtibia with near basal pair of isolated large setae, one anterior and one posterodorsal. Hind tibia with 2 dorsal longitudinal setal palisades (3 palisades in some extralimital species). Wing vein R2+3 present. Male with cercus a separate, smaller sclerite mounted on long stalk ( Figs. 20–25 View FIGURES 20 – 25 ), of contentious origin ( Disney, 1986; Brown, 1992).
