Diagnosis
Dorsocentral setae 2+4. Body blackish pollinose. Frontal vitta blackish with a browncoloured triangular band that is wider at the base of the ocellar triangle and narrower at the insertion of the antenna. Ocellar triangle blackish. Fronto-orbital plate and face yellowish pollinose. Parafacial and gena silvery pollinose. Antenna dark brown. Arista brown. Thorax: Blackish with indistinct stripes. Wing: Hyaline, apical part of M vein converging towards R 4+5. Calypteres whitish with slightly yellow margins. Halter brown. Legs: Light brown, tibiae slightly yellowish. Abdomen: Blackish, with a median white stripe and lateral spots on all sternites.
Type material. Lectotype ♂ and paralectotype ♀.
Distribution. Brazil.
Comments. Pont (2012) designated lectotype and paralectotype and made a short diagnosis for this species.
