Habitat in Aquae dulcis Conchiliis, plantis; frequens.
Hydram refert compositam in formam Anastaticae, sed adeo parva, ut vix nudis adpareat oculis; singulum quemque ramulum terminat Hydra s. flosculus sentiens, & ad minimum motum contrahuntur omnes in globum more Anastaticae siccae; mortuis animalculis restat stirps ramosa, rigida, dum ad tactum tantum sentitur scabrities, quae oculo armato fruticulum refert.
