Type.
Mexico, near Zacuapan, Tenampa, parasite on Calliandra grandiflora Benth., Oct. 1906, C.A. Purpus 2207 (NY).
Note.
Tepals red to brown, in 3 whorls, each with 4 tepals. Growing in branches of Calliandra in Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico (possibly further south; Figs 2 View Figure 2 , 3 View Figure 3 ).
