Hydropsychidae View in CoL appears to be a relatively well-diversified group in Algeria. Genera and species occupy a wide range of habitats from brooks to large rivers ( Illies 1953). Three genera of this family are present in El Harrach Wadi: Cheumatopsyche Wallengren 1891 View in CoL , Diplectrona Westwood 1839 View in CoL , and Hydropsyche F.J. Pictet 1834 View in CoL .
