Type material. Holotype male, 4 mm (QM –W28077); allotype female, 5.9 mm (QM –W28169); paratypes: 1 ovigerous female, 1 adult male (dissected), 2 mancas (QM –W28078); 1 male (QM –W28170).
Material examined. None available for study. Diagnosis prepared from that by Bamber, 2008.
Diagnosis. Male rostrum bilobate. Pleotelson with broad posterior half and lacking two terminal long plumose setae. Pereopod bases sparsely spinulated.
Type locality. NE of Banana Bank , Moreton Bay, eastern Australia, 27°32.53'S, 153°20.99'E, 3.1–4.2 m depth (Fig. 1, number 41) GoogleMaps .
Geographic distribution. Known from type locality only.
