Diagnosis: In male ( figs. 1A View FIGURE 1 , 2A & 2B View FIGURE 2 ), wing span 36 mm, wing upperside ground color is brilliant blue with azure tinge. Markings are absent on both fore- and hindwings. Narrow, black outer marginal line on forewings and hindwings. Borders of both wings dark grey; hindwings veins terminated with fine black tips. Male wing underside has light grey ground color, only hindwings have basal black spots. Discoidal spots present on both wings. Postdiscal black marking very narrow, longitudinal, and exists only on forewings. Submarginal and marginal lunulae only slightly appear.

In female ( fig. 1B View FIGURE 1 ), wing span 38 mm, wing upperside has brown ground color with darker veins. Forewings have discoidal black spots. Submarginal markings are dark brown with well-developed orange lunulae on both wings. Female wing underside has slightly darker grey ground color, only hindwings have basal black spots. Discoidal spots present on both wings, those of the forewings are thicker. Postdiscal black marking are thick, slightly curved, and exists only on forewings. Submarginal and marginal lunulae are clearly appearing with orange centers.
