Material examined.

Holotype. Madagascar • ♀; Province Diego-Suarez , Parc National Montagne d’Ambre; 12°31'13"S, 49°10'45"E; 1125 m a.s.l.; 4-19 Mar. 2001; R. Harin’Hala leg.; Malaise trap MA-01-01D-05; CASENT2009739; CAS . Paratype data listed in Mita and Shaw, 2020.

Distribution.

Comments.

Dinapsis cresta is currently known only from the type specimens from three localities in northern and eastern Madagascar. Dinapsis cresta is most similar to D. albicauda , from which it can be distinguished by its flatter face and entirely brown ovipositor.
