Type information: Holotype M, GREECE: Crete (Kriti), Gavdos , 50m, Karave, N 34 51 003 E 024 07.236, 11.6.2000 (J.M. Tilmans & J.F. R. Tilmans-Smid) (Coll. Tilmans) and additional paratypes ( Tilmans, 2002).
Material examined: GREECE: Crete: Paratype 1M (same data as holotype); ( CW) ; Paratype 1M, 1F, Gavdos, Kedres, 22.7- 10.11.1996 (K. Paragamias) (in CW, in alcohol).
Distribution: This species is endemic to the island of Gavdos located in the south of Crete.
