Type information: Holotype M, TURKEY: Hatay Province, Samandaǧ, Maǧaracık , 10–30 m, (M. Ünal & P. Naskrecki) ; Paratypes 1M, 6 nymphs, same data as holotype (holotype and 3 nymphs in Centre of Entomological Research Society, Ankara, Turkey and 1M, 3 nymphs in Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology of Connecticut, Storrs, USA).
During this study the type material was not available; however, the description by Ünal & Naskrecki (2002) provided sufficient information.
Distribution: It is known from Hatay province of Turkey in the southern most Mediterranean part.
