Figures 1–2 View FIGURE 1 View FIGURE 2
Description. Male. Body small. Fastigium verticis conical, with a narrow longitudinal furrow, apex rounded ( Fig. 1A View FIGURE 1 ). Eyes spherical, projecting outwards. Apical segments of maxillary palpi almost longer than subapical ones, apices slightly inflated.
Anterior margin of pronotum nearly straight, posterior margin rounded; lateral lobes longer than high, narrowing to backwards, humeral sinus indistinct.
Fore coxae with 1 small spine. All femora unarmed on ventral surfaces, apices of genicular lobes of hind femora obtusely rounded. Fore tibiae ventrally with 4 internal spines, 5 external spines and 1 pair of apical spines; tibial tympana open on both sides, ovoid. Middle tibiae with 4 pairs of spines and 1 pair of apical spurs on ventral surface. Hind tibiae with 25–29 internal spines and 26–31 external spines on dorsal surfaces, ventral surfaces with 1–2 internal spines and 2–4 external spines, apices with 1 pair of dorsal spurs and 2 pairs of ventral spurs.
Tegmina short, concealed under the pronotum, or slightly beyond the posterior margin of the pronotum, reaching the middle of the 2nd abdominal tergite ( Fig. 1B View FIGURE 1 ). Hind wings absent.
Posterior margin of tenth abdominal tergite slightly protruding, posterior margin slightly concave in middle ( Fig. 1C View FIGURE 1 ). Cerci spoon-shaped in internal view; internal margins of basal half lobate extension, the interno-dorsal lobe wider ( Fig. 1C View FIGURE 1 ), interno-ventral lobe with base narrower and gradually widening towards to middle ( Fig. 1F View FIGURE 1 ), dorsal and ventral lobes fused medially at the internal surface of cerci; apical half slender, depressed, slightly curved inward dorsally, apices acute ( Fig. 1F View FIGURE 1 ). Subgenital plate with basal half broader, basal margin concave, baso-lateral margins rolled dorsally, lateral margins narrowing toward tip ( Fig. 1E View FIGURE 1 ); apical area projecting and curved ventrally, posterior margin with a small concavity in middle, the lateral lobes rounded ( Fig. 1F View FIGURE 1 ). Styli slender, apices obtuse, inserted on the ventral surface of subgenital plate near apical area.
Female. Similar in appearance to males, slightly larger than male. Posterior margin of 8th abdominal tergite centrally concave ( Fig. 2C View FIGURE 2 ); ninth abdominal tergite centrally arched concave, with the apex of lateral margins expanding posteriorly ( Fig. 2D View FIGURE 2 ); posterior margin of tenth abdominal tergite concave in middle. Epiproct triangular, posterior margin bluntly rounded. Cerci long and stout, conical, apices acute. Ovipositor valve short, slightly curved dorsally, stout at base, narrowing towards to tip, dorsal valvulae acute at apices, ventral valvulae with a small hook at end ( Fig. 2E View FIGURE 2 ). Subgenital plate transverse, baso-lateral margins angularly expanded with concave surface, the lateral margins terminating into a small angle ( Fig. 2F View FIGURE 2 ).
Coloration. Body yellowish brown. Eyes brown. Antennal sockets and internal margins of basal two segments of antennae black, flagellum with light brown ring at apical area of each segment. Dorsal surface of head with four longitudinal black stripes, the external stripes fine and extending to the internal margins of antennal sockets, the inner stripes wide and fused at the apices of fastigium verticis. Disc of Pronotum with a longitudinal black-brown stripe on both sides, which reaching the middle of metazona. Apices of femora and tarsi black brown. Abdominal tergites black brown on both sides, sternites brown.

Material examined. Holotype: male, Tongbiguan, Yingjiang , Yunnan, August 11, 2023, coll. by Siyu Pang and Ting Luo . Paratypes: 1 male, Yingjiang, Yunnan, July 15, 2023, coll. by Weizong Yang ; 1 male and 1 female, Tongbiguan, Yingjiang , Yunnan, August 20, 2023, coll. by Siyu Pang and Ting Luo .
Distribution. Yunnan (Yingjiang).
Discussion. The main differences between this species and Phlugiolopsis (Circummarginata) trullis are male cerci with slender apical-half; posterior margin of male subgenital plate concave in middle with the lateral lobes rounded; the baso-lateral margin of female subgenital plate triangular projecting with concave surface, posterior margin angular.
Etymology. Named according to the difference with Phlugiolopsis (Circummarginata) trullis .
