Concept and content: Four species classified in two genera: Bembradium View in CoL and Plectrogenium View in CoL
Phenotypic diagnosis: Skinny lateral-line sensory canal between pterotic and preopercle absent (character 23, state 1); posterior pelvic fossa present, fossae meeting (character 52, state 1); dorsal-fin stay cartilaginous (character 66, state 2); anal-fin stay cartilaginous (character 67, state 2); hyohyoides inferioris present (character 84, state 1).
