Recorded distribution in Iran: Northwest, southwest and south.
Comments: The species name was published by Mirzayans et al. (1976) and Dlabola (1980), before the description by Dlabola (1981). Apparently the type specimens had been labeled in Hayk Mirzayans Insect Museum before the published description.
