Etymology. The specific epithet is a noun in apposition taken from the type locality.

Diagnosis. Leptonetela tongzi sp. nov. is similar to L. reticulopecta sp. nov., but can be distinguished by the presence of 4 trichobothria on pedipalpal tibia, the absence of reticular decoration on sternum, the presence of 2 tubers on pedipalpal bulb retrolaterally, the mutual contacted spermathecae.

Description. Holotype male. Total length 2.40. Prosoma 1.12 long, 1.00 wide. Sternum 0.66 long, 0.58 wide. Opisthosoma 1.24 long, 1.10 wide. Dorsal shield of prosoma yellow, a stiff seta on anterior area of ALE, 2 on antrolateral area of PME. Thoracic median groove brown, needle-shaped, cervical groove and radial furrows distinct, brown yellow. Clypeus 0.22 high, slightly sloped anteriorly, a row of short setae along clypeal antromargin. Six eyes ovoid, on black bases. Eye sizes: ALE 0.07, PLE 0.07, PME 0.06; ALE-ALE 0.01, ALE-PME 0.13, PLE-PLE 0.10, PLE-PME 0.04; AER 0.13, PER 0.17. Major axes of PLE convergent posteriorly, median axes of PME parallel. Chelicerae brown yellow, fang furrow with 10 promarginal and 6 retromarginal teeth. Endites, labium and sternum brown yellow. Labium rebordered, fused to sternum. Legs yellow. Leg measurements: I 9.45 (2.65, 0.35, 2.80, 2.20, 1.45); II 7.80 (2.30, 0.35, 2.25, 1.75, 1.15); III 6.28 (1.80, 0.33, 1.75, 1.45, 0.95); IV 8.10 (2.30, 0.35, 2.30, 1.95, 1.20). Leg formula: I-IV-II-III. Femur I with 9– 13 spines, femora II–IV spineless. One dorsal seta at patella distally. Each tibia modified by 4 trichobothria and 2 setae. A cluster of serrated hairs-comb at ventral base of metatarsi II and III respectively. Opisthosoma pale yellow or grey brown, ovoid, with pigmental spots, covered with long hairs, rugose posteriorly.

Pedipalpal femur with 4 long setae ventrally. One short dorsal spine at patella distally. Peidpalpal tibia modified by 4 dorsal trichobothria, 2 prolateral long spines and 5 retrolateral large spurs, not bifurcated. Pedipalpal tarsus contracted at 3/5 position, attaching an earlobe-shaped process retrolaterally and 3–5 distal setae. Pedipalpal bulb subquadrate, appending 2 small tubers at base retrolaterally. Prolateral lobe developed, slightly sclerotized. Embolus sharply triangular. Conductor large, rugose. Median apophysis absent.

Female. General features, somatic coloration and body size similar to male, but legs shorter. Total length 2.42. Prosoma 0.98 long, 0.92 wide. Sternum 0.60 long, 0.56 wide. Opisthosoma 1.46 long, 1.36 wide. Clypeus 0.20 high. Six eyes with black rings. Eye sizes: ALE 0.06, PLE 0.07, PME 0.04; ALE-ALE 0.02, ALE-PME 0.12, PLE-PLE 0.11, PLE-PME 0.04; AER 0.15, PER 0.19.
