Type material: Holotype: male ( IZCAS), Shenxian Cave (Alt.: 1179 m; 13 ºC; H.: 90%), Duolangping Village , Niuchang Town, Fuquan City [26°55.010´N, 107°26.128´E, Guizhou, China], 27 May 2007, Y.C. Lin and J. Liu leg. GoogleMaps Paratypes: 13 males and 36 females, same data as holotype ( IZCAS) GoogleMaps .

Etymology. The specific name is derived from the Latin adjective " geminispinus " (= bispinose), in reference to the adnate tibial spurs I and II on the male pedipalp. Gender is feminine.

Diagnosis. Leptonetela geminispina sp. nov. differs from the other congeners by the presence of 3 retrodistal tibial spurs on pedipalp, and the outermost one is plumose ( Fig. 18 E View FIGURE 18 ), the presence of 4 long tibial spurs ventrally and the spurs I and II are paratactic, the pedipalpal tarsus no contracted or wrinkled, the short hairs modified compressed atrium anteriorly as same as on spermathecae and sperm ducts.

Description. Holotype male. Total length 1.90. Prosoma 0.90 long, 0.78 wide. Sternum 0.58 long, 0.50 wide. Opisthosoma 1.10 long, 0.72 wide. Dorsal shield of Prosoma yellow, a row of short setae along margin of clypeus anteriorly, two long setae on anterolateral area of PME. Thoracic median groove fuscous, needleshaped. Cervical groove and radial furrows distinct, pale brown. Clypeus 0.16 high, slightly sloped anteriorly. Six eyes ovoid, on black bases. Eye sizes: ALE 0.07, PLE 0.06, PME 0.04; ALE-ALE 0.01, ALE-PME 0.14, PLE-PLE 0.10, PLE-PME 0.06; AER 0.16, PER 0.19. Major axes of PLE convergent, median axes of PME parallel. Chelicerae yellow, narrower and longer than endites, fang furrow with 8 promarginal and 5 retromarginal teeth. Endites, labium, sternum and legs yellow. Leg measurements: I 6.83 (1.85, 0.30, 2.00, 1.55, 1.13); II 5.30 (1.50, 0.30, 1.45, 1.15, 0.90); III 4.25 (1.20, 0.25, 1.10, 1.00, 0.70); IV 5.75 (1.60, 0.28, 1.65, 1.35, 0.87). Leg formula: I-IV-II-III. Only one spine on femur I. Each patella with a distally-dorsal spine. Tibiae I–V with 3 trichobothria and 2 spines respectively, one trichobothrium on each metatarsus. Only metatarsus III with a finely serrated hairs-comb, metatarsus II absent. Opisthosoma darkish, ovoid, covered with hairs, modified pale purple speckles, crinkled posteriorly.

Pedipalpal femur spineless. A dorsal spine on patella distally. Tibia with 3 trichobothria, 4 ventrally and 3 retro-distal spurs (the outermost is plumose), tibial spurs I and II adnate arranged. Tarsus not contracted and crinkled at middle, but attaching a large earlobe-shaped process with a cluster of slender hairs. Two large distal and one ventral spines at tarsus. Pedipalpal bulb smooth, ovoid, conductor membranous and forky, embolus wide triangle, median apophysis developed and horn-shaped, sclerotized.

Female. Similar to male in coloration, general features and body size, but legs shorter. Total length 1.80. Prosoma 0.76 long, 0.70 wide. Sternum 0.50 long, wide 0.48. Opisthosoma 1.16 long, 0.90 wide. Clypeus 0.14 high. Six eyes on black bases. Eye sizes: ALE 0.06, PLE 0.05, PME 0.05; ALE-ALE 0.02, ALE-PME 0.11, PLE-PLE 0.09, PLE-PME 0.05; AER 0.15, PER 0.17. Chelicerae pale brown, fang furrow with 8 promarginal and 4 retromarginal teeth. Endites and labium pale brown. Sternum and legs yellow. Leg measurements: I 5.83 (1.60, 0.28, 1.70, 1.25, 1.00); II 4.56 (1.25, 0.28, 1.25, 0.95, 0.83); III 3.80 (1.10, 0.25, 0.95, 0.85, 0.65); IV 5.07 (1.45, 0.27, 1.40, 1.15, 0.80). Leg formula: I-IV-II-III. The chaetotaxy of all legs same as in male.

Genital area covered with plumose long hairs. Internal genitalia composing of pairing twisted spermathecae and sperm ducts, distinctly sclerotized. The compressed atrium smooth, slightly projected on anterior mid-margin. Spermathecae, sperm ducts and anterior margin of atrium with modified short hairs.
