Brief diagnosis. This species can be distinguished from the other Indian species by combination of following characters: punctations of face not merging to form transverse striations or rugae ( Fig. 12A View FIGURE 12 ), bicolored pterostigma ( Fig 12B View FIGURE 12 ), evenly setose hind wing marginal cell ( Fig 12C View FIGURE 12 ), median area of metanotum with semicircular pit posteriorly ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 ) and all femora and tibiae yellow ( Figs 11 View FIGURE 11 , 12B View FIGURE 12 ).

Comments. This species can be easily identified using the original detailed description provided by Quicke et al., 1997. The comparative characters with other closely allied species are provided in Table 1.

Distribution. India, China and Nepal.
