Brief diagnosis. This species can be distinguished from the other Indian species by combination of following characters: punctations of face not merging to form transverse striations or rugae ( Fig. 12A ), bicolored pterostigma ( Fig 12B ), evenly setose hind wing marginal cell ( Fig 12C ), median area of metanotum with semicircular pit posteriorly ( Fig. 11 ) and all femora and tibiae yellow ( Figs 11 , 12B ).

Comments. This species can be easily identified using the original detailed description provided by Quicke et al., 1997. The comparative characters with other closely allied species are provided in Table 1.

Distribution. India, China and Nepal.
