Type locality: [ Brazil, Bahia ] Villa de Barra [ Blanchet]. Syntypes: MHNG-INVE-91238 ( 2 + subadults) ( Pleuroceridae ) [ Fig. 11 View Figs 7-13 ].

– Remarks. Some specimens, presumably from the original series, were apparently sent to J.C. Anthony, and are now in the MCZ collection (MCZ 74780). NMB 1171a ( 5) and NMB 1171b ( 5) are additional syntypes.
