Examined specimens. TAJIKISTAN. Region of Republican Subordination. Khoja Obi Garm, Varzobskiy rayon; 38°53'46"N, 068°46'59"E; 6-2018; alt. 2000–2200 m; Adult host: Salix ; 5 (EJCB) // Romit Reserve, Vakhdatskiy rayon; 38°45'24"N, 069°18'12"E; 6-2018; alt. 1300–1600 m; Larval host: Salix ; 27 (EJCB) // Shirkent National Park, Shakhrinavskiy rayon; 38°41'55"N, 068°21'47"E; 6-2018; alt. 1200–1400 m; Adult host: Salix ; 11 (EJCB).
Host plant cited. Larval: Salix . Adult: Salix .
Biological remarks. The species replaces A. viridis on Salix in Tajikistan. Larvae bore individually or collectively under the bark or deeper in the wood of living branches ( Figs 9B, 9D, 9E View FIGURES 9 ). Larval activity may cause dieback of infested terminal part (9C). The character of Salix infestation is similar to that of A. viridis in Europe ( Fig. 10C View FIGURES 10 ) or A. politus ( Fig. 7D View FIGURES 7 ) in North America.
