89. Eicochrysops hippocrates ( Fabricius, 1793) View in CoL
WL: 12mm. The species also has a pan-African distribution, ranging from forest to Sudan savanna. It is typically found in shady places close to bogs, swamps, lakes and running water. Caterpillars are reported to feed on Polygonaceae .
