WL: 17mm. This species occurs mainly in the transition between forest and Guinea savanna, and is distributed from Guinea-Bissau - from where it is reported as a faunistic novelty—to DRC, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Tanzania, and northeastern Zambia . The caterpillars feed on Pericopsis (Fabaceae).
