*233. Platylesches picanini ( Holland, 1894) View in CoL
WL: 14mm. This is the second species of the genus that is new for Guinea-Bissau. It occurs in dry forest, but also inhabits areas of dense Guinea savanna in West Africa. The species ranges from Senegal to DRC, Uganda, southwest Kenya and southwards to South Africa. The caterpillars feed, like those of the preceding species, on Parinari curatellifolia (Chrysobalanaceae).
