115. Bicyclus vulgaris (Butler, 1868)
WL: 20mm. B. vulgaris is the most common among the Bicyclus in Guinea-Bissau. It can be found in all forest types, and is distributed along West Africa, Cameroon, Congo, DRC, Angola, Ethiopia, Uganda, western Kenya and Tanzania and northwestern Zambia. The caterpillars are known to feed on grasses ( Poaceae ).
