WL: 30mm. C. eupale is a forest butterfly, though it tolerates forest degradation and is also known to occur in savanna woodland. This is a new species for Guinea-Bissau, where its presence was already expected (Larsen, 2005). It is distributed from Lower Casamanse (southern Senegal) to Nigeria; south of its range flies C. e. latimargo. Known host-plants are Scutia (Rhamnaceae) , Cathormion sp. and Albizia adianthifolia (Fabaceae) .
