Orthorapha View in CoL (s.s.) polita Stål

Orthorhapha [sic] polita Stål, 1862a: 16 .

Orthoraphia [sic] polita as synonym of cassidioides: Jacobi, 1921: 23 (error).

Diagnosis. Venter redbrown, pleura beneath tegmina yellowish; dorsum and tegmina black, boldly marked with yellow on basal third of costa and with numerous vein tips scarcely indicated; tip of tegmina angulate; hind wings as in O. cassidioides ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 F). Theca as in O. cassidioides ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 3 – 17 A). Female unknown. Length: 5.7–6.2 mm. Width across pronotum: 2.5–2.7 mm.

Type. Holotype male, [ BRAZIL]: Rio [de] Jan[eiro] (F. Sahlb[erg]), bearing Stål's handwritten tag to "lautipes Stål" [MS name?]; paralectotype, same sex and data, except collected by Stål. Both types in NRSE.
