Leaves with a central white band, flowers pure-white, perianth tube funnel or cylindrical, sweet fragrant, seeds brownish-black.

Northern Western Ghats, India

Etymology:—The series name ‘ Bruno-niveus’ is derived from the most striking feature of this group i.e. ‘ Bruno’ for brown seeds and ‘ niveus’ for the snowy white flowers.
