Chorotype. West-Mediterranean.

In Algeria, the species was recorded from Tlemcen, Blida, and in Laverdure ( Berthélemy et al. 1991). Despite the records of the species from the Grand Kabylia in the Djurdjura ( Berthélemy et al. 1991), it was not found during this survey.
