Type material. Holotype ♂, NAMIBIA: Vredenhof 301, 27º37’S, 18º48’E, 21.II.1976, B. Lamoral leg. ( NMSA).
Etymology. The species name is a patronym for Bruno Lamoral, collector of the holotype.
Diagnosis. Cheiramiona lamorali sp. nov. is unique in the large loose standing triangular EM within the EM structure ( Figs 44–45 View FIGURES 37 – 48. 37 – 39 ).
Description. Male (n = 1): TL = 5.1; CL = 2.3; CW = 1.9; OAL = 0.4; OAW = 0.9; CLL = 0.05. Chelicerae: robust with long fangs; PMT:RMT = 3:2 ( Fig. 43 View FIGURES 37 – 48. 37 – 39 ). Measurements: AME–AME 0.10; AME–ALE 0.15; AME diameter 0.15; PME–PME 0.15; PME–PLE 0.20; PME diameter 0.15; MOQAW 0.30; MOQPW 0.45; CI (CL/ CW) 1.21; LL:CL 6.52; STL 1.1; STW 1.0. Leg measurements: I—4.3+1.0+3.8+4.5+1.4 = 15.0; II— 2.9+0.9+2.4+3.0+0.9 = 10.1; III—2.3+0.8+1.6+2.4+0.6 = 7.7; IV—3.2+0.9+2.5+3.2+0.8 = 10.6; Palp— 0.9+0.4+0.4+1.1 = 2.8. Leg spines: I—1 p-1p-1p1r, 2v-4 v1 p-1p1r, 2v-4 v1 r- 1v; II—0-1p-1p1r, 1 v1 p-2 v1 p1r-1p1r, 2v-4 v1 p1r- 1v; III—0-0-1p1r, 2 v1 r-1p1r-1p1r, 2v-2 v1 p1r-3 v1 p1r; IV—0-0-1p1r, 2 v1 r-2 v1 p1r-1p1r, 2v-2 v1 p1r - 3 v1 p1r. Abdomen: creamy-yellow with heart mark and slightly darker area posterior to heart mark. Palp ( Figs 44– 45 View FIGURES 37 – 48. 37 – 39 ): cymbium elongate, longer than patella plus tibia length; tibia with broad RTA, with small notch ventrally near rounded apex; TA slightly sclerotized, with hooked apex; EM short, thick, with large pointed, loose standing triangular central part; CON short, indistinct and not sclerotized next to EM. Female: unknown.
Distribution. Only known from the type locality ( Fig. 99 View FIGURES 97 – 100 ).
Habitat. Collected on rocky ground at night.
