7. Eurya pseudopolyneura Hung T. Chang (1954: 41) View in CoL .

Type:— CHINA. Guangdong: Ruyuan, Qingxidong, Zhaidu, in forest of valley, small tree, about 2 m high, flowers white or pale pink, 13 Nov. 1933, Xi-Peng Gao 53576 (IBSC-0003678!, here designated; isolectotype NAS-00071853!). Remaining syntypes:— CHINA. Guangdong: Ruyuan, southwest of Niujiaolong , streamside, in forest, flower white, mature fruit black, 27 Oct. 1934, Xi-Peng Gao 54622 (IBK-00190540!, IBSC-0018811!, NAS-00071854!) .

Two gatherings, Xi-Peng Gao 54622 and 53576, were designated as male and female “type” in Chinese, respectively, in the protologue ( Chang 1954). Five sheets of these two gatherings were found in three different herbaria. Among the five sheets IBK-00190540 has a “ syntype ” symbol, IBSC-0018811 has a “ paratype ” symbol, and only IBSC-0003678 has a paper bag with the flower material dissected presumably by the original author and is designated as the lectotype here. This species was originally described from Guangdong. It is treated as a synonym of Eurya impressinervis Kobuski (1939: 367) by Ming & Bartholomew (2007).
