Remarks. No associable type specimen, neither with a label containing the name of this species as found in NMPC. As suggested by Illies (1966), surely not a Perlidae but a Gripopterygidae or a Notonemouridae , according to body size given in the original description ( Blanchard 1851). Unfortunately, the family cannot be surely associated on the basis of the brief description. Consequently, this name should be treated as a nomen dubium, not assignable even to suborder.
