Type locality.
"Sarawak proper, Borneo" [= Kuching, Sarawak].
Material examined.
Gunung Doya: ME 8904, ME 9093.
Distribution in Borneo.
Sarawak: Kuching and Serian divisions. Endemic to Borneo.
Remarks.
Living snails were observed foraging among leaf litter and plant debris near the cliff in lowland limestone forest. It differs other Bornean Opisthoporus species by having a moderate shell, short sutural tube projecting upward, long Rhiostoma -like detached Opisthoporus tuba .
