Eurypus kirbyi Champion 1916:104 ; Blair 1928:31; Blackwelder 1945:493. HOLO-
TYPE. Male, in BMNH (examined). Polypria longipennis Pic 1933:9 ; Blackwelder 1945:493. HOLOTYPE. Sex unknown,
labelled: ‘‘Te 421. Tl. 11.32. / type / TYPE / Pelopria [sic] longipennis n sp.,’’ in
MNHN, Pic Coll, new synonym. Several species that Pic described in the genus Polypria belong in Eurypus . It is somewhat surprising that Pic did this, because he did describe several species of true Polypria , and had previously published a key to Polypria species ( Pic 1902) .
