6. Draba alpina var. korshinskyi Fedtschenko (1903: 266) View in CoL ≡ Draba korshinskyi (O. Fedtsch.) Pohle (1914: 484) .
Type locality indication: “1892. Ak-Baital, fl. (Nazarov!).—1897. On the Koi-Tezek pass, stony and sandy soil, 22. VII, flowers yellow (Korshinsky!, No. 2449, in herb. Acad. Sci.; in herb. Hort. Petrop., id., from Shugnan–Uchkol! Beyond the Koi-Tezek pass 22 VII, Kok-bai! 23. VII); along Liangar-su, upper reaches, stony slopes, 18 VIII (Korshinsky!), fl., fr. immat.—1901. On the Koi-Tezek pass, 15,100 ft, 20. VII and 1 VIII, fl., fr., on gravel!! (B. and O. Fedtschenko)” [originally in Russian].
Lectotype (annotated by Al-Shehbaz in 2002 and designated here):— TAJIKISTAN. [Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region]. Pamir, on pass Koi-Tezek , 15,100 ft, 1 August 1901, O. A. & B. A. Fedtschenko s.n. ( Flora Pamirica N. 42) [originally in Russian] ( LE!). Other syntypes in LE!
Seven syntypes were cited by Fedtschenko (1903) in her description of this taxon at the varietal rank. The above lectotype was originally annotated by her at the varietal rank and in 21 Oct. 1917 as a species. Besides, there is her earlier note “ Draba koi-tezeki m. ( D. physocarpa Korsh. in sched. ex parte, non Kom.)” fitting well the suggestion that the new taxon might probably be better treated as a distinct species ( Fedtschenko 1903). The specimen consists of 19 plants representing excellent flowering and fruiting material.
