Remarks. This species was originally described from the upper Miocene of Kyushu, southwest

Japan. Kawagata and Hatta (2002) thoroughly described the taxonomy of the genus Rectobilivina ;

we here follow their views.

Occurrence. Abundant in the Oura Formation,

common in the Onogoshi and Minebari formations.
