Remarks. Considerable confusion exists among
C. cushmani , C. ovoidea , and C. oolina . Chilostomella oolina is distinguished from the other two in having a much more slender shape. Chilostomella ovoidea was originally described from the Miocene;
the name has been applied by many workers for
Recent specimens. Chilostomella ovoidea has a more inflated and ovoid form than C. cushmani .
Occurrence. Three specimens from a single sample of the Minebari Formation.
