Plants with all main axes long, slender, scandent, climbing, or creeping, with lateral branchlet systems of spreading to flaccidly hanging, at least to 30 cm long branchlet systems. Main axes 1–2(–2.5) mm thick excl. leaves, glabrous. Branchlets 4–5 mm in diam. incl. leaves. Leaves of main axes distant, acicular, semiterete to flattened, with long, slender tips, usually straight and appressed, glabrous. Branchlet leaves softly to firmly herbaceous, arcuate-ascending to arcuate-appressed, acicular, semiterete to flattened, 3–5 × ca. 0.5 mm, evenly tapering from the base. Strobili to 90 × ca. 4 mm. Sporophylls usually 8-seriate, their exterior face lanceolate to lanceolate-ovate, 4–5 × 1–1.5 mm, shallowly erose-denticulate. Sporangia 1–1.2 mm wide.

Distribution:— Panamá, Venezuela (AM-BO), Guyana, Colombia, Ecuador.

Habitats:—Epiphytic in pluvial montane forest, and scrambling or creeping with pendulous branchlet systems on shaded stream banks, sandstone escarpments and moist bluffs 1650–2800 m elev.
