TYPE LOCALITY: Indonesia, Irian Jaya, Sorong Div., Waigeo Island .
DISTRIBUTION: New Guinea and adjacent small islands; Bismarck Arch.; Mysol and Salawatti Isis.
COMMENT: The name kalubu has been attributed to Lesson, 1828, Diet. Class. Hist. Nat., 13:200; but see Husson, 1955, Nova Guinea, 6:290.
