Ficus cundinamarcensis Dugand, Caldasia View in CoL no. 4: 36. 1942.
Lectotype (designated here): — COLOMBIA. Cundinamarca, Santander, abajo del Salto, márgenes del Río Bogotá, June 1940, E.Pérez-Arbeláez 10221 (COL-3823!; isolectotypes: COL-3822! COL-3821!).
Nomenclatural notes:— The protologue indicates that the holotype of F. cundinamarcensis was deposited in the herbarium COL; however, there are three preparations from a single gathering (Pérez-Arbeláez 10221) there. There is no clear indication on the labels that these three preparations are parts of the same specimen ( Turland et al. 2018, Art. 8.3); therefore, they are considered as three duplicates. With this in mind, we designate Pérez-Arbeláez 10221 (COL-3823) as the lectotype because it has more leaves, syconia, and stipules.
Taxonomical notes:— The currently accepted name for this taxon is Ficus americana subsp. andicola .
